In Georgetown, residents recently came together to support Lark & Owl Booksellers after the independent bookstore faced serious financial challenges.

What happened next became a powerful example of community support. Hundreds of local residents donated, shared the story, visited the store, and helped raise more than $46,000 to keep the bookstore operating.
